Do you grasp the concept, name, and the array of possibilities? Rent Everything. It functions as a peer-to-peer marketplace facilitating connections between individuals, freelancers, and companies offering goods and services with those in need of them. Consider us as an evolved version of Craigslist.
The User:
- Provider: If you possess items, services, or skills – be it unique or standard – you can list and share them at a price of your preference.
- Renter: If you are in search of a specific item or service that is not listed, you can make an on-demand request at a price you set, and we will contact our user base to find a match.
Feel free to engage in both roles. We offer online profiles, social verification, manage payments and deposits, and allow you to oversee everything through your dashboard. Whether you seek to earn extra income or cover your expenses, we aim for Rentah to be beneficial to you.
Payment:
We do not charge Providers any fees. Unlike other e-commerce platforms and on-demand sharing economy services that deduct sizeable percentages (20% or more) as commission from your transactions, we opt for zero fees and will maintain this approach. Rentah applies a 5% surcharge on all rentals paid for by the requestor.
Our referral system is straightforward: if someone registers on Rentah through your unique link, we will evenly split the 5% earnings from that person’s transactions between the two of us indefinitely. This is not a pyramid scheme; it's equitable compensation for aiding us in expanding our community and user base.
For instance, if your friend Andrew rents tools worth $100 for a DIY project, each of us receives $2.50 from the 5% commission.
We aimed to create a genuine sharing economy where all our users are collaborators with a vested interest in our progress.
The Why:
We are burdened with excess belongings. How many lawnmowers does a neighborhood truly require? Our talents and interests are often underutilized. There exists a disconnect with people residing in close proximity within our buildings. Reflect on the skills and tools available among your immediate neighbors. Through Rentah, we envision people saving or earning extra money by engaging in 'renting' activities while simultaneously reducing consumption, conserving resources, and fostering connections within their community.
